– 25 lb/ft2= 122 kg/m2              Approx. 125kg/m2

– 3m (Length) × 1.25m (width) × 2m (Height)

Medium Duty

– 50lb/ft2= 244kg/m2              Approx. 250fkg/m2

– 2m (Length) × 1.25m (width) × 2m (Height)

Load increasing & length of Bay is decreasing

Scaffold
How many loads can you put in 1 Bay?
Load increasing & length of Bay is decreasing
--->
Light duty scaffold
125kg/m2
3m length of scaffold pipe
Medium duty scaffold
250kg/m2
2m length of scaffold pipe
How many loads can you put in 1 Bay?
Light Duty Scaffold Bay = Length × Width
125kg/m2 ----> 1 Bay = 3m × 1.25m
=3.75M2
Final Result
Calculate total load of Bay = 3.75m2× 125kg/m2
= 468 kg (SWL)

How many loads can you put in 1 Bay?
2 Person + 250 kg
OR 3 Person + 150 Kg
OR 4 Person + 50 kg
